Fundamentals 101
By setting up a reusable text block as a Quick Part in Outlook, you can automatically fill text content into an email (or calendar entry), just by typing a keyword or phrase. For example, using a Quick Part helps facilitate communication when one person is regularly relaying information to another person to be entered into Ali CRM as an interaction.
How do I request help to send, view or document activity that includes communicating:
* an appeal (or contribution card);
* an event invitation;
* a personalized, 1:1 letter; or
* a bulk/mass email blast or mailing?
Honoring the constituent’s communication preferences is not just a good idea — it’s a compliance requirement. If you are initiating communication with a specific constituent, be sure to use the power of Ali to know how to best approach that individual or organization by referring to their “opt out” or solicit codes.
Use Ali CRM to write an individual letter to a constituent, merge their addressee/salutation information from Ali CRM and create an interaction record in one process. Also learn more about bulk correspondence including mass mails and email blasts.
